Application
- Western Blotting (WB), ELISA
- Specificity
- Recognizes mouse/human Hepcidin 25. The mouse sequences from mouse/rat and human differ by just 1aa in 25aa mature HEPC. The sequence is truncated by 5aa in the 20aa major secreted HEPC. No significant cross-reactivity with 20aa HEPC peptide. May cross-reacts with the unprocessed larger 60aa pro-HEPC if present in the samples or tissues.
- Purification
- Immunoaffinity purified
- Immunogen
-
Synthetic peptides consisting of 7aa sequence from the N-terminus of mature human and mouse 25aa HEPC (KLH).
