    Background
STX17 belongs to the syntaxin family and contains 1 t-SNARE coiled-coil homology domain. This protein is implicated in vesicle trafficking to lysosomes and could be involved in processes related to cell division. Recombinant human STX17 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
