    Background
SNAI2 also known as Zinc finger protein SNAI2. This protein acts as a transcriptional repressor that binds to E-box motifs and is also likely to repress E-cadherin transcription in breast carcinoma. SNAI2 is involved in epithelial-mesenchymal transitions and has antiapoptotic activity. Recombinant human SNAI2, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli.
