- Background
- NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] iron-sulfur protein 3, also known as NDUFS3, belongs to the complex I 30 kDa subunit family. The multisubunit NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase (complex I) is the first enzyme complex in the electron transport chain of mitochondria. The iron-sulfur protein (IP) fraction of complex I is made up of 7 subunits. Recombinant human NDUFS3 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
