    Background
RERG is a 199 amino acid protein that localizes in the cytoplasm and belongs to the Ras subfamily of small GTPases. RERG is expressed in pancreas, liver, skin, lung, brain, kidney and heart tissue. It is critical mediators of diverse cell signaling pathways, including those leading to cell proliferation, cytoskeletal organization and secretion. Recombinant human RERG protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Synonyms: Ras-related and estrogen-regulated growth inhibitor, MGC15754. NCBI no.: NP_116307
