- Background
- NKG2A, NKG2-A, CD94, KLRD1, KP43, KLRC1, CD159A,NKG2, also known as NKG2A(CD159A), is a member of the killer cell lectin-like receptor family. NKG2A marks a unique immune effector subset preferentially co-expressing the tissue-resident CD103 Molecule, but not immune checkpoint inhibitors. It is expressed only in NK-cells, but not in T-cells or B-cells.
- Molecular Weight
- 18.3 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 40-50 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
