    Biological Activity Comment
Immobilized Human VEGF R1, His Tag at 2μg/ml (100μl/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Biotinylated Human VEGF121, His Tag with the EC50 of 36.5ng/ml determined by ELISA. See testing image for detail.
  • Restrictions
    For Research Use only
  • Format
    Lyophilized
    Reconstitution
Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
    Buffer
Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
    Storage
    4 °C,-80 °C
    Storage Comment
Reconstituted protein stable at -80°C for 12 months, 4°C for 1 week. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
    Expiry Date
    12 months
  • Target
VEGF121 (Vascular Endothelial Cell Growth Factor 121 (VEGF121))
    Alternative Name
    VEGF121 (VEGF121 Products)
    Background
VEGF, VEGFA, MVCD1, VAS, VEGFMGC70609, VPF, RP1-261G23.1, MGC70609,Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF or VEGF-A), also known as vascular permeability factor (VPF), is a potent mediator of both angiogenesis and vasculogenesis in the fetus and adult. VEGF165 appears to be the most abundant and potent isoform, followed by VEGF121 and VEGF189.
    Molecular Weight
17 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 18 kDa/22-25 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
