- Restrictions
- For Research Use only
-
- Format
- Lyophilized
- Reconstitution
- Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
- Buffer
- Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
- Storage
- 4 °C,-80 °C
- Storage Comment
- Reconstituted protein stable at -80°C for 12 months, 4°C for 1 week. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
- Expiry Date
- 12 months

- Target
- VEGF121 (Vascular Endothelial Cell Growth Factor 121 (VEGF121))
- Alternative Name
- VEGF121 (VEGF121 Products)
- Background
- VEGF, VEGFA, MVCD1, VAS, VEGFMGC70609, VPF, RP1-261G23.1, MGC70609,Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF or VEGF-A), also known as vascular permeability factor (VPF), is a potent mediator of both angiogenesis and vasculogenesis in the fetus and adult. VEGF165 appears to be the most abundant and potent isoform, followed by VEGF121 and VEGF189.
- Molecular Weight
- 17 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 18 kDa/22-25 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
