- Application Notes
-
Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoperoxidase electronmicroscopy and Immunohistochemistry as well as other phosphatase-antibody basedenzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 g of Human IgG in astandard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate as a substrate for 30 minutesat room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:3,500 of the reconstitutionconcentration is suggested for this product.
Other applications not tested.

- Preservative
- Sodium azide
- Precaution of Use
- WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
- Handling Advice
-
Do not freeze! Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.
Do not add Sodium azide.
Dilute only prior to immediate use
