Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p))
Specificity
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site. JAK1 (phospho-Tyr1022) antibody detects endogenous levels of JAK1 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 1022.
Purification
Immunoaffinity chromatography.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human JAK1 around the phosphorylation site of tyrosine 1022 (K-E-YP-Y-T).
Suitable for use in Western blot (1: 500approx. 1: 1000) and Immunohistochemistry (1: 50approx. 1: 100). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
