Background: The immunogen for the anti-cdk 4 was a recombinant cdk 4 protein recognizing a 34kD protein.Iit has no cross reaction with other cdk's. It dies not co-precipitate the D type cyclins bound to cdk4. It is a critical regulator in cell cycle progression between G1 and S.
