Western Blotting (WB), ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
    Specificity
This purified antibody has been heated to 56 °C for 30 minutes. In ELISA and other immunoreactive assays, this antibody will recognize both native and recombinant human VEGF-165 in cell supernatants and certain body fluids. A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.
    Purification
    Ion exchange chromatography
    Immunogen
VEGF Antibody Biotin Conjugated was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with full length recombinant human VEGF-165 protein.

    Type of Immunogen: Recombinant protein
    Isotype
    IgG

  • Application Notes
    Approved: ELISA, IHC (1:500 - 1:2500), WB (1:2000 - 1:10000)

Usage: VEGF conjugated antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 22 kD in size corresponding to monomeric human VEGF-165 protein by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
