- Background
- Anti-mouse CD44 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of CD44 (also known as Pgp, Ly-24) as well as both Ly- 24.1 and Ly-24.2 1,4 . CD44 is a polymorphic glycoprotein, which is broadly distributed on hematopoietic cells and a variety of nonhematopoietic cells 1,2 . It is a cell adhesion receptor and its pri- mary ligand is hyaluronan This antibody is suitable for use in flow cytometry. This clone is also reported to be suitable for immunoprecipitation, detection of soluble CD44 with ELISA, IHC of frozen sections and paraffin sections (2.5- 10ug/ml), and complement depletion 1,2,3
