- Background
- Anti-mouse CD44 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of CD44 (Pgp-1, Ly-24) a polymorphic glycoprotein which is broadly distributed on hematopoietic cells and a variety of nonhematopoietic cells 1,2 . CD44 is a cell adhesion receptor and its primary ligand is hyaluronan This antibody is suitable for use in flow cytometry. It has also been reported to have application for immunoprecipitation, detection of soluable CD44 with ELISA, IHC of frozen sections and paraffin sections, and complement depletion 1,2,3
- Pathways
- Glycosaminoglycan Metabolic Process, Autophagy, Negative Regulation of intrinsic apoptotic Signaling
