Precaution of Use
WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.

Background
The Ubiquitin-like containing PHD and RING finger domains 1-binding protein 1-like (UHRF1BP1L) is closely related to UHRF1BP1, also known as ICBP90, a transcription and cell cycle regulator that specifically binds to the histone H3 N-terminal tail. While little is known of UHRF1BP1L, UHRF1BP1 is required for proper heterochromatin formation in mammalian cells.Furthermore, UHRF1BP1 is thought to be a pivotal target for the ERK1/2 signaling pathway to control the proliferation of Jurkat T cells, suggesting that UHRF1BP1L may also be involved in chromatin regulation and cell proliferation.
