Specificity: The immunizing peptide corresponds to a part of the extracellular domain. CD7 is a glycoprotein which makes a higher size band to be expected. The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings with different antibodies from other commercial sources.

Purification: Antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

Immunogen: CD7 Antibody was raised against a 15 amino acid sequence near the internal region of CD7 (aa132-146).

Application Notes: ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 32000. Western Blot: Approximately 37 kDa band observed in human thymus lysates (calculated MW of 25.4 kDa according to NP_006128.1). Recommended concentration: 0.5-2 μg/mL.
