Specificity: This antibody is expected to recognize both transcript variants of this protein (as represented by NP_054730 and NP_659198) which encode the same protein.

Immunogen: SOCS5 antibody was raised against an 11 amino acid synthetic peptide near the N-Terminus of SOCS5.

Application Details

Application Notes: ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:64,000. Western Blot: Experiments gave bands at approximately 48 kDa and 24 kDa in human brain lysate after 0.3 μg/mL antibody staining.2 kDa according to NP_054730 and NP_659198. Both detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Approximately 65 kDa band observed in Molt4 lysate (calculated MW of 61.2 kDa according to NP_054730.1). Recommended concentration: 0.3-1 μg/mL.
