Purpose: c-Src is a protein encoded by the SRC gene which is approximately 59,8 kDa. c-Src is localised to the cell membrane and mitochondria inner membrane. It is involved RET signalling, negative regulation of FGFR1 signalling, EPH-Ephrin signalling and GAB1 signalosome. It is a non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase which is activated following engagement of many different classes of cellular receptors including immune response receptors, integrins and other adhesion receptors, receptor protein tyrosine kinases, G protein-coupled receptors as well as cytokine receptors. c-Src is expressed ubiquitously. Mutations in the SRC gene result in thrombocytopenia. STJ90958 was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This primary antibody specifically binds to endogenous c-Src protein which only binds about S75 when S75 is phosphorylated.

Specificity: Phospho-c-Src (S75) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of c-Src protein only when phosphorylated at S75.
