Purpose
14-3-3 ζ/δ is a protein encoded by the YWHAZ gene which is approximately 27,7 kDa. 14-3-3 ζ/δ is localised to the cytoplasm and melanosome. It is involved in the activation of cAMP-dependent PKA, development slit-robo signalling and activation of BH3-only proteins. It is an adapter protein implicated in the regulation of a large spectrum of both general and specialized signalling pathways. This is achieved through mediating signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. It also interacts with IRS1 protein, suggesting a role in regulating insulin sensitivity. 14-3-3 ζ/δ is expressed in the nervous system, intestine, skin, blood and eye. STJ90869 was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This primary antibody specifically binds to endogenous 14-3-3 ζ/δ protein which only binds about T232 when T232 is phosphorylated.
Specificity
Phospho-14-3-3 ζ/δ (T232) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of 14-3-3 ζ/δ protein only when phosphorylated at T232.
Characteristics
Rabbit polyclonal to Phospho-14-3-3 ζ/δ (T232).
Purification
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Immunogen
Synthesized peptide derived from human 14-3-3 zeta/delta around the phosphorylation site of T232.
