Application
- Western Blotting (WB), ELISA
- Specificity
- Recognizes full-length (1-28aa) Orexin B. The epitope is not found in Orexin A. The appropriate control immunogenic peptides may be used to confirm specificity of antibodies. Since Orexins A and Orexin B are derived from an unprocessed pre-pro orexins (130aa), the anti-Orexin B antibodies may also react with prepro orexins. mouse immunogenic peptide has 100 % homology in mouse and rat, 92 % in human Orexin B.
