Handling Advice
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Use of Sodium Azide will inhibit enzyme activity of horseradish peroxidase. Product will become viscous but will not freeze. Avoid storage in frost-free freezers. Allow product to warm to room temperature and gently mix before use. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Von Willebrand factor (vWF) is a blood glycoprotein involved in hemostasis. It is deficient or defective in von Willebrand disease and is involved in a large number of other diseases, including thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, Heyde's syndrome, and possibly hemolytic-uremic syndrome. Synonyms: Polyclonal VWF antibody, Anti-VWF antibody, Von Willebrand Factor antibody.
