    Background
TXNDC12 belongs to the thioredoxin super family. Members of this super family possess a thioredoxin fold with a consensus active-site sequence (CxxC) and have roles in redox regulation, defense against oxidative stress, refolding of disulfide-containing proteins, and regulation of transcription factors. Recombinant human TXNDC12 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
