    Purpose
Human PTGDR2 full length protein-synthetic nanodisc
    Characteristics
Full Length Transmembrane Proteins (synthetic Nanodisc)
  • Application Notes
    • Applications for VLPs:
    • ELISA
    • SPR affinity analysis
    • Phage display screening
    • Immunization
    • Cell based assays
    • CAR-T cell screening

    Comment

Synthetic Nanodisc can be prepared directly from the cells. The polymers used during this process have a dual function. It dissolves the cell membranes, like the detergent, and uses cellular phospholipids to form Nanodisc around the membrane proteins. The target protein embedded Nanodiscs can then be purified.

Description: This gene encodes a G-protein-coupled receptor that is preferentially expressed in CD4 effector T helper 2 (Th2) cells. This protein is a prostaglandin D2 receptor that mediates the pro-inflammatory chemotaxis of eosinophils, basophils, and Th2 lymphocytes generated during allergic inflammation. Single nucleotide polymorphisms in the 3' UTR of this gene have been associated with asthma susceptibility.[provided by RefSeq, Mar 2011]
    Molecular Weight
The human full length PTGDR2 protein has a MW of 43.7 kDa
    UniProt
    Q9Y5Y4
