Reconstitution: Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Background: The scavenger receptor class B member 1 (SR-B1 or Scarb1) is a glycosylated cell surface receptor for high density lipoproteins (HDL), oxidized low density lipoproteins (OxLDL), and phosphocholine-containing oxidized phospholipids (PC-OxPLs). Scarb1 is expressed in macrophages and has been shown to have both pro- and anti-atherogenic properties.

Molecular Weight: 47.76 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 70-90 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
