This Cardiac Troponin T2 antibody is un-conjugated
Application
Western Blotting (WB), Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA)
Specificity
This antibody recognizes Troponin T Cardiac Isoform 1. Under reducing conditions, this antibody reacts with purified cardiac isoform in Western blotting and does not react with the skeletal isoform under the same conditions.

Application Notes
ELISA. Western Blot: Reacts with reduced purified cardiac isoform in Western blotting at a titre ofgreater than 1/250. Does not react with the skeletal isoform under the same conditions. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Target
Cardiac Troponin T2 (cTnT)
(Cardiac Troponin T (cTnT))
Cardiac Troponin T, a 36 kDa protein, is the tropomyosin binding subunit of the troponin complex, which is located on the thin filament of striated muscles and regulates muscle contraction in response to alterations in intracellular calcium ion concentration. Mutations within the protein have been associated with familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as well as with dilated cardiomyopathy. Transcripts for the gene undergo alternative splicing that results in many tissue specific isoforms.Synonyms: TNNT2, TnTc, cTnT
