Rabbit Anti-ATF-2 (Phospho-Thr73/55) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of ATF-2 only when phosphorylated at threonine 73 or 55.
Purification
Rabbit Anti-ATF-2 (Phospho-Thr73/55) Polyclonal Antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide is removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Immunogen
Synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human ATF-2 around pThr73 or 55 (T-P-TP-R-F)

Precaution of Use
WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice
Briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container's cap because small volumes of antibody will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
