    This antibody is directed against the CD63 antigen which is expressed in platelet lysosomes and is translocated to the platelet surface upon activation with strong agonists.     Background
    Glucose transporter 1 (or GLUT1), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLC2A1 gene. GLUT1 facilitates the transport of glucose across the plasma membranes of mammalian cells. GLUT1 is a type III integral protein with 12 hydrophobic segments, each of which is believed to form a membrane-spanning helix.
