Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF)
    Cross-Reactivity (Details)
The antibody is specific for KCNQ2. It does not cross-react with KCNQ3 or other QKT proteins. There are at least 9 recognized splice variants of rat KCNQ2. This antibody recognizes all except splice variants B and G.
    Characteristics
Guinea pig Anti-KCNQ2 Antibody (#), raised in guinea pigs, is a highly specific antibody directed against an epitope of the rat KV7.2 channel. The antibody can be used in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. It has been designed to recognize KCNQ2 from mouse, rat, and human samples. The antigen used to immunize guinea pigs is the same as Anti-KCNQ2 Antibody (ABIN7043503, ABIN7044959 and ABIN7044960)) raised in rabbit. Our line of guinea pig antibodies enables more flexibility with our products such as multiplex staining studies, immunoprecipitation, etc.
    Purification
    Affinity purified on immobilized antigen.
