- Background
- CXADR is a type I membrane receptor for group B coxsackieviruses and subgroup C adenoviruses. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 15, 18, and 21. Recombinant human CXADR protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
