Characteristics: Plate 3*104 cell per well in 96-well plates in RPMI 1640 medium with 10% FBS for 24 h. Sub confluent cells were starved 4 h in RPMI 1640 medium with 2% FBS. Standard and Sample mouse TNF-alphawere added and cell viability measured 24 h later by addition of CellTiter 96® AQueous Non-Radioactive Cell Proliferation Assay reagent (MTS). The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.02 - 0.05ng/ml.
