Application Notes
Peptide ELISA: 1/32000. Western blot: Approx.38 kDa band observed in lysates of cell line Daudi (calculated MW of39.8 kDa according to NP_000622.2 and 38.8 kDa according to NP_038202.1). Intransfected HEK293 transiently expressing P40PHOX a band of approx.48 kDa is observed. This band is not observed in the non-transfected HEK293. Recommended concentration: 0.3 - 1 μg/mL. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: Human Tonsil shows staining of thecytoplasm in some cells. Recommended concentration: 2 - 4 μg/mL. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

NCF4 is a cytosolic oxidase associated protein. It is a component of the nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase, which mediates down regulation of NADPH oxidase through interactions with its SH3 domain. NCF4 is associated with p67 phox but is absent in patients with chronic granulomatous disease who lack p67 phox.Synonyms: Neutrophil NADPH oxidase factor 4, Neutrophil cytosol factor 4, SH3 and PX domain-containing protein 4, SH3PXD4, p40-phox
