Western Blotting (WB), ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
Purification
KIP1 antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Immunogen
KIP1 antibody was raised against a 13 amino acid synthetic peptide near the internal region of KIP1.
ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:32,000. Western Blot: Approximately 26 kDa band observed in lysates of human prostate and of hepatoblastoma cell line HepG2 (calculated MW of 22.1 kDa according to NP_004055.1). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Xia et al, Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 2005 Sep 27,102 (39) :14028-33, PMID: 16169901). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3 μg/mL.
