- For Research Use only
-
- Format
- Lyophilized
- Reconstitution
- Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
- Buffer
- Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 5 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
- Storage
- 4 °C,-80 °C
- Storage Comment
- Reconstituted protein stable at -80°C for 12 months, 4°C for 1 week. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

- Background
- Guanylyl cyclase C, GC-C, STAR, GUCY2C, GUC2C, STA receptor, DIAR6, EC 4.6.1, GCC, GUC2CEC 4.6.1.2, MUCIL,Guanylyl cyclase C (GUCY2C) has canonical centrality in defense of key intestinal homeostatic mechanisms, encompassing fluid and electrolyte balance, epithelial dynamics, antitumorigenesis, and intestinal barrier function. GUCY2C may represent a new target for anti-obesity pharmacotherapy.
- Molecular Weight
- 48.8 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 70-80 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
