Specificity: Recognizes mouse HIF-1 alpha. Species cross-reactivity: rat, human, primate. Antibody has been tested in Western Blot, recognizing a band in hypoxic samples at ~115kD. Rat retina and brain cortex have been tested. Rat brain cortex is a bit dirty but this antibody does detect upregulation of HIF-1 alpha in hypoxic samples.

Purification: Immunoaffinity purified

Immunogen: A fusion protein including aa530-825 of the mouse HIF-1 alpha protein.

Usage: Suitable for Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Not recommended for Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000. Immunohistochemistry (regular/paraffin): 5-10 μg/mL. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
